The Sunrise Children's Foundation was incorporated in the State of Maryland in 1999, and was approved as a 501(c)3 non-profit in early 2001. As a publicly supported charity, the Foundation strives to provide educational and support services to families in order to improve the life styles of children and young adults diagnosed with cancer.

We are an all volunteer organization with members from several different Mid-Atlantic states. There are no paid employees and the Foundation runs with limited operational expenses. All of our members have been camp volunteers working to help develop children's oncology camps in Maryland, Delaware and New Jersey.
Periodically the Foundation will hold fund raisers and one annual solicitation each year. Donations to the Foundation are used to fund an endowment which continues to provide financial support for grants and services each year. Over 85% of donations are used directly for support programs, grants and services.
The Foundation is governed by the laws of Maryland and directed by an independent Board of Directors. The Foundation welcomes interested parties to become a member and help support our efforts. Additional information can be obtained from the following officers:
