Our mission is to develop and employ Mid-Atlantic resources to enhance the lives of children and young adults with cancer and their families.

Established in late 1999 as a publicly supported non-profit, the Foundation was formed to provide continuing support, educational services and special activities for children diagnosed with cancer and their families.  Our volunteer members work throughout the Mid-Atlantic area to support local children's oncology camps, to help provide special equipment and services needed for patient treatment and to coordinate with other non-profit agencies providing similar services to meet children's and young adults needs.

The Foundation believes that every child and young adult diagnosed with cancer should have local programs and support services necessary to help minimize the emotional impact of a cancer diagnosis.  The Foundation's all volunteer team works to provide those services.
